Who Should Buy Arctis Nova 5X?
Good fit
Choose the Arctis Nova 5X if you want one headset for gaming and mobile use, with quick switching between 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3. Its stated platform range covers Xbox, PC, PlayStation, Switch, Meta Quest, phones, and tablets.
It also fits players who value a long interval between charges or like adjusting game audio through presets.
The battery is rated for 60 hours, while USB-C fast charge adds six hours of use in 15 minutes; the companion app includes more than 100 game audio presets.
Who should skip it

Arctis Nova 5X Review Analysis
Wireless modes for gaming and everyday use
The central buying benefit is the ability to switch between 2.4GHz gaming wireless and Bluetooth 5.3 with a button press.
That makes the headset adaptable to both game audio and mobile calls or media, though a switch between modes is different from a promise of mixing both connections at once.
Battery and charging flexibility
A 60-hour battery is a useful fit for players who want fewer charging interruptions, and the fast-charge feature adds six hours of use after 15 minutes of USB-C charging.
Treat these as the stated runtime and charging figures rather than a guarantee of the same result in every setup.
Preset depth and headset controls
The companion app's 100-plus game presets provide a way to tailor audio settings around named games, while built-in controls cover power, mute, volume, ChatMix, and connection switching.
This combination favors players who want customization and common adjustments readily available.
Microphone and platform fit
The retractable ClearCast 2.X microphone can be tucked away between calls, and the included compact USB-C dongle is intended for a wide spread of gaming and mobile platforms.
Buyers should match the listed platform support to their own devices and check call needs, especially if they often speak in noisy outdoor settings.

Read Amazon ReviewsSteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless
Prefer the Arctis Nova 5X for its long single-battery runtime and large game-preset library; choose the Nova Pro Wireless if active noise cancellation, Bluetooth mixing, and swappable batteries better match your gaming setup.
- The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless has active noise cancellation, simultaneous Bluetooth, and two hot-swappable batteries with a charging base station.
- The Arctis Nova 5X centers on 60-hour battery life, more than 100 game audio presets, and quick switching between 2.4GHz gaming and Bluetooth 5.3.
Is Arctis Nova 5X Worth It?
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X is worth considering if you want a multi-platform wireless gaming headset with Bluetooth switching, a 60-hour battery, and a substantial game preset library.
Its retractable microphone and on-headset controls add practical convenience for players who make adjustments during play.
Buy it for connection flexibility, battery endurance, and app-based customization. If your priorities are active noise cancellation, simultaneous Bluetooth mixing, or hot-swappable power, the Arctis Nova 5X's quick-switch connection approach and single-battery design may be a poor fit.
